(Hartford, CT)-Despite the rain, there was a great turnout for Cuban band Cimafunk’s performance in the Old State House in Hartford, Connecticut on Thursday August 10, 2023. Hundreds of people gathered in the plaza around the stage to listen and dance to the songs of a Cuban band that created its own style and rhythm.
The crowd was very enthusiastic, and, to Cimafunk’s pleasure, there were several Cubans among them. The energy of the audience was contagious, and people enjoyed the band’s catchy lyrics and tempo.
However, perhaps the highest moment of the night came when Cimafunk started playing their iconic song, “Me voy” (I Am Leaving). As the tunes started to come, the Cubans who were on the front row were invited to the stage, where they showed their moves dancing around the band.
Covering this was a special moment with no doubt.
